FIESTAS TRINITARIOS BERBERISCOS IN TORRE PACHECO

This Friday 3rd of June til sunday 5th June there will be the fiestas trinitarios berberiscos in Torre Pacheco with lots going on. There will be a medieval market all weekend, bands playing, children´s workshops, circus, clowns, acrobats, spectacles of fire, processions.... See below for full programme.



Friday 3rd June

19:00pm  - A Red Prcession

Direct music with dancing

20:00pm - Circus with magic, clowns and acrobats

21:00pm - Inauguration of the Medieval Market

22.30pm - Great act of trinitario berberisco in the square of the new townhall along with a Spectacle of Fire and a Black Procession with fireworks

Midnight - The precussion group "press Into" with be playing in Vicente Anton Square followed by a Disco in the square
Saturday 4th June


Midday - a childrens corner with finger painting

13:00pm " A white Parade"

Spectacle with Arabic Music accompanied by belly dancers

13:00pm - Childrens Corner with storytelling

18:00pm - Animation of the characters "LOs Zingaros"
18:30pm - Childrens Corner - Workshop of clay

FLAMENCO CONCERT IN TORREPACHECO SUPPORTING LORCA APPEAL

This Friday 27th of May 2011 in Torre Pacheco there will be a Flamenco concert, supporting the Lorca Appeal. Cost will be 10 euros and it starts at 9pm. HAH NEWS UPDATE

Not only did Friday April 29 see the Royal Wedding, it also saw some HAH fundraisers enjoying a fun day at La Zona Bar, Los Narejos. This important day started with ‘the best Hat competition’, followed by big screen Royal Wedding, and then the excellent value Menu del dia.


After a short break, the team re-grouped along with lots more people, and continued the day long celebrations with WARDI, our local rock legend superstar. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very kind, but it did not deter this human dynamo, and he soon had everyone joining in, singing and dancing (some in the rain)! During a short break, the HAH girls, along with Wardi went round and collected loose change, and on that magical day, enough money was raised to buy a much needed wheelchair for the sole use of HAH clients. Pam Prince, the organiser thanked Joanne (La Zona) and Wardi and his wife, along with all the many people who come along to our events.. Pam said ‘without the continued support, kindness and generosity of so many local people, we would not have been able to help so many others who struggle to cope’ HAH have now helped (and are still helping) some 50 people, and this has been made possible by the money raised and donated by the local community. MURCIA TRES CULTURAS - FREE MUSIC FESTIVAL

From Friday 20th of May 2011 till Saturday the 28th of May 2011, Murcia Tres culturas takes place in different locations around Murcia....


"An extraordinary Festival celebrating tolerance and intercultural exchange, replete with vibrant concerts, dance and extraordinary music.


The entire programme is free, and it´s just a question of turning up to try and get a seat- but leave plenty of time for some of these events as they will be very popular and spaces are limited in some venues. There are only 2 events which are "invitation only" meaning tickets have to be collected from the tourist info centre in Plaza Belluga....." ROCKING IN RODA

Sunday the 5th of June 2011, from 4pm to 10pm there will be a concert in aid of HAH (help at home) at Roda Social club, admission 10 euros to include a hamburger and a hotdog bbq with a variety of salads. More info below
