Sunday 25^th September – SAMM/MABS RACE DAY – Los Narejos, Infanta Cristina Sailing College jetty area – 11.00 am

The Sailing Association Mar Menor invites boat owners to compete in a race to raise money for the MABS Cancer Support Group charity to be held on the Mar Menor on 25th September 2011. The organising authority will be the Sailing Association Mar Menor. The event is open to all Cruisers, Dinghies and Sports Multihulls in Two Classes. Class 1 Cruisers which are defined as a yacht, single or multihull, with fixed permanent accommodation for purpose of sleeping, whether fit for that purpose or not. Class 2 Dinghies and Sport Multihulls which are defined as an open sailing boat with no fixed sleeping accommodation. The handicap system used for both classes will be Portsmouth Yardstick. Vessels without a PY Number will be given one by the SAMM Race Committee using information from the entry form, design details and PY handicaps used by other clubs. All sponsorship monies to be in by closing date Monday 13th September 2011.

FIESTA DAY - LA TORRE GOLF

Dont forget that this thursday from 10am there will ba another fiesta day at la torre golf, with lots going on.
Murciagolfproperties will be sponsering the childrens activities in the afternoon and will be down there all day, with fun things to do. Come down in the morning and put your kids names down for some of the afternoon activities.
There will also be a dog show if we get enough dogs names down in the morning, or via email to me sam@murciagolfproperties.co.uk

All proceeds from the activities sponsored by murciagolfproperties will be going to the Lorca Appeal.

BYE BYE SUMMER - FIESTA DAY - LA TORRE GOLF

After the last Fiesta day at La Torre Golf being such a sucess, with a huge Paella for 1 euro, drinks 1 euro and cocktails and evening BBQ being 2 euros, a market, inflatable castles, DJ, bands and fashion show, Polaris will be holding another one on Thursday 25th of August

They would like the community to get a bit more involved on this one, so if you have any ideas or suggestions.

This time we need people to help.
Myself, lynda Goodall, Marta Gomez will be arranging kids activities in the square from 4pm till 8pm predominantly.
To include things like Balloon relay races, hula hoop competitions, dance competitions, limbo, Beat the goalie, hoopla, guess how many sweeties in a jar, musical chairs and other games and activities.

We are also going to have a Recycled outfit making, where kids will create their own outfit out of recycled materials and then just before the Fashion show have the kids doing their own fashion show.

As the turnout was so huge last time, we need people to volunteer and come down and help us even if it is just for half an hour or so. Please contact me on sam@murciagolfproperties.co.uk


We will have nominal charges for things as we will give all the proceeds to Lorca appeal and have a collection tin.
