CASA PEDRERA GRAND DESIGNS HOUSE

Great day out?
Well 25 mins drive away is the Grand designs house - Casa Pedrera,
set on a protected reserve, next to the lake.

They have a rustic tea room and activities such as Quadbiking, Horse and Pony rides, Hiking, Cycling; Fishing, Archery, Air Rifle shooting; Laser sport and clay pidgeon shooting.

There is also a ball park for children, a soft play area and many animals to see and pet.

THE MAGICAL NIGHT OF SAN JUAN @ MANA DISCOTECA

THIS SATURDAY IS THE BONFIRES OF SAN JUAN AND MANA DISCOTECA IS DOING A SPECIAL MAGICAL NIGHT

Hogueras de San Juan

Saturday the 23rd of June 2012 is the "hogueras de San Juan" the bonfires of San Juan. Summer Solstice. Throughout Spain Bonfires are lit on beaches. At La Torre Golf Resort they are having a special BBQ for 20 euros.

I have been for past 2 years and they have fire dancers

And some strange pagan looking man chanting over a cauldron of odd tasting punch,

then you go down to the fire and write on a piece of paper something you wish to forget and toss it into the fire.
