Los Alcazares is a great place to spend Easter weekend, the streets turn into a huge Medieval Market, which is superb.
This opens This morning Thursday 21st April at 10am, until Sunday 24th evening.
There is something for everyone there, lots of stalls selling everything from food, jewellry, wooden items, childrens toys.
Friday 22nd April at 20.30pm on the beach there is a reenactment of when the pirates atacked the country folk on the beach. Best get there early to grab a place to see.
Saturday 23rd April at 8.30pm there is a big parade, from the roundabout on Avenida libertas and will go down the whole avenida until Trece de Octubre.

They also serve food to eat, with places selling spare ribs and others making the most delicious crepes (savoury and sweet).
You can grab a mojito, or have a mint tea and pastry in one of the arabic tents.
There are donkey rides and birds of prey on display.

Along the rambla the peñas set up camp and there is usually bands playing each evening.
This is WELL WORTH a visit, we often go down saturday late afrternoon, have a walk round the market, grab something to eat at the market and then catch the reenactment on the beach.
Enjoy

Hi Sammy,
I am a regular visitor to Sucina and the region of Murcia and I was wondering if you knew the dates for the 2012 Medieval Market? I simply can't wait to go! Thank you so much!
