Community Fiesta on Plaza Osiris - 9 June 2011
The 9 June is the regional day for the Murcia region. It is a fiesta holiday day and to celebrate it, a Fiesta is being organised for the community to enjoy on Plaza Osiris which is located at the far end of Calle Castano and the bottom end of Calle Alerce.
The event has been kindly sponsored by "Atlantis", our contractor who maintains the resorts fountains. It starts at 4pm and finishes at 11pm and is open to anyone on the resort.
The day will provide a catalogue of activities some of which are listed below. To help make the day successful it is hoped that those attending will support
and participate in the free prize winning competitions to make it a super enjoyable day for everyone.
With the exception to the barbecue food and raffle this is a FREE event.
Those attending are asked to bring with them their own cutlery and plate. There is plenty of seating space on the plaza but for your own comfort you may want to
bring a cushion to sit on or if you prefer a chair. A parasol with a base for it to stand in may be a good idea. Oh and don't worry there will be toilets on site.
A barbecue is being provided by the English Butcher at reasonable prices so you are asked to support them by purchasing their food, but please bring your own
salad and drinks for your enjoyment. When ever possible, please bring plastic bottles, plasticware and containers to avoid a broken glass hazard.

Fun Sumo Wrestling for the active
Model boat building competition for the innovative. Please see entry details attached. Great Prize for the winner!!!
Best dressed parasol competition for the imaginative. Please see entry details attached. Great Prize for the winner!!!
Catch a duck raffle
Music and dancing to finish off the day
