LOYALTY CARD AT PERLA NEGRA

La Perla Negra pub which is located on the Boulevard near Mar Menor Golf Resort on the road between Torre Pacheco and Los Alcazares.

have introduced a loyalty card, which you need to apply for at the bar, with this card for every 5 drinks you get you get a free drink :)

You can apply for your card now, and start accumulating points on it. Free drinks start after the 1st of April.

You could also accumulate the points and not get free drinks but save up for T shirts, bags, personalised mugs ect...

NEW MINI GOLF

A new Mini Golf has opened close to the Mar Menor Golf Resort

It is open at the moment 9am to 9pm mondays to fridayS

There is a 18 hole Par  54  Mini Golf - Cost 7 euros for adults and 5 euros for children under 16. They also have a Happy Family discount where 2 adults and up to 3 under 16´s can play for 25 EUROS
Below is Hole 2 which is a par 4

There is also a Crazy golf which costs 3 euros

And a Bowls and Curling area

There is a Bar where the drinks are very reasonable

MAR MENOR HALLOWEEN PARTIES

This sunday 31st is Halloween and there are various parties around.
Mombassa on the Boulevard (just outside Mar Menor Golf Resort) is holding theirs on the 30th

Then you could pop next door to Rock and Roll Circus

And then you could shoot down the road towards Los Alcazares to Delicius for another Halloween party

As with all Halloween nights, Fancy dress may be seen quite alot!

LA PARPADELLA - THURSDAY SPECIAL MEAL

La Parpadella Italian Restaurant on the Boulevard is doing a special set meal on Thursdays, to coincide with the live bands playing at Mombassa every thursday night. DINNER AND BAND NIGHT

LIVE BANDS AT MAR MENOR AND LA TORRE GOLF

Over the next few weeks there are various live bands playing on the Polaris Resorts.

Thursday 14th October at Mombasa (which is on the Boulevard next to Mar Menor Golf Resort) Mono Club are playing at 10pm.

And throughout October Every Saturday night there are different bands playing at The Clover on La Torre Golf Resort.

The next Band playing at The Clover on la Torre Golf is Chess, which are a queen tribute band and they will be playing Saturday 16th October.

NIGHT OF ANGELS- DELICIUS THEATRE

Delicius Theatre discoteca is having a special night tonight Saturday 9th October- THE NIGHT OF ANGELS

Delicius is located on the road from Torre Pacheco to Los Alcazares on the industrial estate just before the AP7.

LA TROPICAL

The other day I nipped into one of my favourite restaurants for a spot of tapas.
La Tropical.

This is the new one they have opened, the original one is down in Los Alcazares, but this one is on "the Boulevard" outside of the Mar Menor Golf Resort, on the road that goes from Torre Pacheco to Los Alcazares.

The outside does not do it justice, but on the inside its bright and modern, with a restaurant area

And then a bar area, the two are divided by a wall with glass units full of blue bottles

The service is always superb and has a great atmosphere and vibe in there.
We ordered the "tapas plate" where they bring you 4 tapas to share, you can choose, but we asked him to bring the 4 tapas he thought were the best, and this is what we got.

And I must say all were rather delicious, washed down with a couple of sprites and a sangria, came to 18.00 euros. We also got to try a sample of the speciality of the house ...

I know it looks a little frightening, but it was very yummy, and is black rice with cuttlefish (arroz negro con sepia) The rice is black as they use the ink from either cuttlefish or squid to colour it black!

The bar is laden with lots of different tapas .

All in all I couldn´t reccomend this place highly enough. And if you are ever in Los Alcazares, try there one there too, this is down the road to the side of the Townhall that leads to the beach.

CoverTime and Yaniella Brooks

CoverTime and Yaniella Brooks are two great bands which play the Polaris circuit, if you have not seen them then you should.

Covertime will be playing Bamboo at La Torre Golf Resort on Friday 27th August at Bamboo


And also on Saturday 28th Augustat Sandalo in El Valle Golf Resort






Yaniella will be playing Mombassa Cafe on Thursday 26th The bouleverd Mar Menor Golf Resort.


She will also be playing at La Torre Golf on Saturday 28th August
