ARTESAN MARKETS

Throughout the region of Murcia there are some superb Artesan Markets, and they do need to be called artesan markets not handicraft markets as we know them in the uk. They mix in Crafts and food from the local area and often have exhibitions and demonstrations of how things are made, they are places that young and old, women and even men will enjoy. I have added them all to EVENTS CALENDER so you can easily see when each are on.

FIRST SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH

1. SAN JAVIER holds theirs in PLAZA DE ESPAÑA from 10am to midnight throught July and August

FIRST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH

1. BULLAS holds their market from 9am to 2pm at PLAZA VIEJA, castle area, right in the centre of town. More info can be found here

SECOND SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH

1. SANTIAGO DE LA RIBERA hold theirs on the seafront in July and August from 10am till midnight.
2. MULA holds theirs at the Plaza del ayuntamiento from October to May from 10am to 2pm

THIRD SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH

1. CARAVACA DE LA CRUZ holds theirs from 10am to 2.30pm in the Plaza del Arco
2. SAN PEDRO DE PINATAR-LO PAGAN hold theirs from 10am to 2pm on the seafront at lo pagan from September to June, In July and August it is held at Parque de los reyes de España from 8pm to late

LAST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH

1. CEHEGIN holds theirs from September to May from 10.30am to 2pm. August it becomes a night market from 9.30pm to 1am. June and july it is closed
