I will keep updating this Post as information becomes available.
Peraleja Golf has its superb Clubhouse where prices are not what you would expect (in a good way) they do a lunchtime menu of the day for 15 euros and reports are that it is superb. They also have their Piano Bar, open at weekends. But most noteworthy is the new Spanish Tasca near the stables, they have kindly renovated an 18th centruy farmhouse and its really quaint, with interior sitting areas and a fireplace, but outside is a huge pergola with seating and views down to the mar menor, serves tapas and drinks and it is really reasonable, they also serve paella but you need to book if you are going to eat. I couldnt reccomend this place highly enough.

In Sucina there are a variety of bars and restaurants:
The below reviews I have taken from one of the forums, so the reviews are by people not myself
"ROSARIOS had a fantastic tapas selection, 7 large plates between three and drinks for €10 each. Opening times Mon-Fri 7.30am to 4pm, 8pm to 11pm, closed Saturdays.
The PIZZA PLACE was quite busy, friendly staff, but the door dosent close properly so its a bit chilly! Food was fine. Decor reminds me of the Indian restaurant (which we avoid if possible).
FRANC LOUISE good atmosphere as ever, and as busy as I have seen it on Saturday. Saw people sitting in that strange glass fronted section to F&L.
PLAZA BAR was packed on Friday for the Barcelona match on TV. Basic food is ok too. Still has odd opening times as yet undiscovered.
EL MESON DEL VINO , very nice meal in good surroundings. Also there is a bar area and some came in just for a drink.
DONDE AYER is still the venue for the younger people here, and again the place for late night drinking and musiC.
EMs was very busy when we walked past which is good to see.
ARCO BAR have also changed their menu and are offering good cheap food. Drink a wee bit dearer than other places but staff do have good understanding of English.
THE INDIAN has changed hands (one of the workers has taken it over). He will be doing a 3 course meal on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for £10.95. I tried it out last week and it was excellent. You can also phone ahead for a take-away meal for the night you arrive to be ready for collection.
The ex owner of the Indian rest. is opening a new restaurant in the Dress Shop which closed down and it will be an International Restaurant.. He is still running the Pizza restaurant too.
I don't think the pedestrianisation of the centre will be done till after the summer. From Calle Mayor (Cam Bank) up to past Rosarios there are plans to pedestrianise the roads.
Meantime the open area between Bodega and Urbanisation has been cleared of ALL rubbish. Abel (who works for F & L and speaks a little English) is going to run the outside bar of the Bodega there from June to September. If its opening hours are the same as last summer, you will be able to drink until very late in the night.
Plaza Bar is now doing cheap Spanish specialities, good tapas, barbacued grilled plates of lovely meat (a la parilla), sizzling prawns in garlic, oven baked octopus. He does gazpacho, and paella on Wednesday lunchtimes (3 course meal for 8 euros including drink). Note staff do not speak English but menus done by in english so you can just point to what you want. His drink prices and coffee very cheap too.
Finally, don't forget our Cultural Centre where you get home made food, cheap drink, local banter and a smile from Teresa who does her best to speak slowly in Spanish, though at the top of her voice. Take your earplugs with you, but you will have a really truly Spanish experience there. It's my 2nd home (along with Plaza Bar) where all the characters of the Spanish people here hang out "
La Vereda has now opened serving food and drinks and has a sprung disco floor! Click here for more info and a video http://polarisworldandbeyond.blogspot.com/2010/09/la-vereda-bar-restaurant.html
Plus the old Hacienda at Hacienda Riquelme is now open serving food and drinks, and there is also the terrace bar in the dovecote, click here for pictures and more info.
